Google says this is the first page on the Internet where the phrase "MOND gravitons" has occurred. I would have used it here, but didn't want my comment deleted as a personal speculation.
Quantize gravity, you get gravitons. Quantize MONDian gravity, you should get MONDian gravitons. And maybe they can give us some of the other things attributed to dark matter, like the Bullet Cluster and the third CMB peak.

The edge
I am a fan of string theory; I understand and respect what has motivated the post-1970s climb from grand unification via supersymmetry to M-theory and the landscape.
Nonetheless, I do think that the cutting edge in empirically based theory is now to be found in something like "standard model + MOND".
